Drive for Cornwall Transfers and Tours

If you like meeting people and you have very high standards of driving and customer care, there are two options available to you.
Employed Drivers
Our employed drivers earn a rate from £15 per hour. With 28 days a year holiday and a company pension scheme. Payments are made on a monthly basis. To qualify as an employee we would like you to have:
A minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
A minimum of five-years driving experience
For insurance purposes a minimum of one-year’s private hire experience and licence (including enhanced DBS police check)
A clean driving licence
A valid Group 2 medical
A Cornwall Transfers driver will work some very irregular hours so a high degree of flexibility is required. On joining our team, you will receive full training. This will ensure you are confident with customers and you are eligible to drive our vehicles.
Self-Employed Drivers
A self-employed Cornwall Transfers driver owns their own vehicle and receives their income through a combination of account work and direct customer payments. Commission rate from just 10%. To qualify as a self emlployed driver we would like you to have:
An executive vehicle or MPV less than five-years old
A minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
A minimum of five-years driving experience
A private hire vehicle licence
A private hire driving licence
An operator licence if you are not licensed by Cornwall Council as a driver
A clean DVSA driving licence
